The problem with extremists.

The problem with extremists is they love to talk the talk, but unfortunately cannot always walk the walk.

A very common example: black feminists (the extreme ones); they will scream the whole world down about skin bleaching, modern day colorism, and body discriminations BUT soon as someone challenges them about relaxing their hair it's 'nope it's not the same, my hair does not define my blackness'. Well well well. Does that not contradict everything you have been fighting for.

These are double standards aka making up the rules as I go along. Because you don't bleach, you say bleaching is self hate. Because you do not wear weave, you say natural hair is the only way. Because you do not wear make up; everyone who does is insecure and needs to love themselves more.

And this is why I hate these labels. There is ALWAYS a loophole.

As humans we are a paradox, whether we like it or not. Even the planet earth we were placed on is in a position which is neither too hot nor cold. It's position from the sun, is just right to sustain the survival of the human race.

Yet here you are; claiming to only accept one form of something, remaining adamant to trying anything other than. Can we just allow ourselves to be free. Of Course we are entitled to our own opinion; but your way is not the only way my dear.

We can incorporate the best of both to achieve something wonderful on a whole. You can be independent yet vulnerable. You can love wholeheartedly but still be able to discipline. You can 'Tunup' but also 'tun down'. A little off topic but I think you get my point.

Can we get rid of these labels. No one is truly an extremist; these roles are just forced.

In other words what you believe in isn't the problem, the problem comes when you make these rules which restrict not only your expression but the expression of others who do not believe in it. Because someone does not believe in your morals, does not mean they are wrong.
